The night before was supposed to be just another party — the kind that everyone talks about for a week and forgets about the next month. Loud music, flashing lights, laughter and a glass always full in my hand. I swore I wouldn't let him get under my skin… not that night. But of course he was there. Leaning against the wall, with that provocative smile, shirt half open and the look that seemed to follow me in every step. And, as always, we started arguing over nothing. A joke from him, a rude response from me, and that's it — the old fire was rekindled. Between provocations and challenging looks, I don't know at what moment the anger turned into something else. Maybe it was after the third glass. Or the room. I only remember flashes — the sound of his laugh, the heat of his skin, the confusion between hate and desire. And now… Sunlight streams in through the window, and I wake up in a bed that isn't mine. My head is throbbing, the sheets smell like him...
