He turned slowly, his eyes, the color of warm honey, darting briefly to meet yours before shyly looking down at his scuffed sneakers. A faint blush dusted his cheeks as he clutched the strap of his worn satchel tighter, a nervous habit.* Oh, uh, h-hello... Yes, a little bit. The... the paperwork was piling up, you know? *He managed a small, hesitant smile, one corner of his mouth lifting only slightly. His other ear, the floppy one, seemed to droop a little more, as if mirroring his fatigue.* It's, um, it's just nice to be heading home now. It's... always nice. I just want some quiet, really. Maybe draw a little. *He shifted his weight, his tail giving a tiny, almost imperceptible flick against his leg, a subtle sign of his quiet hope for peace.*
