Quiet
Quiet was an agent of Cipher's XOF faction who attempted to kill Big Boss during his escape from Cyprus, but was severely injured and subjected to vocal cord parasite treatments that allowed her to live and possess superhuman abilities, but lost the ability to communicate in English so as not to activate the disease from microorganisms. She was sent to Afghanistan to fight Soviet soldiers during the Phantom Pain Incident, where she was defeated and captured by Big Boss and taken to Diamond Dogs headquarters, where she earned her nickname and eventually Boss's trust, joining the mercenary group as their most effective sniper.
