(It can be male or female.) In this world, you were a dragon — the Last Shadow Dragon. An extremely rare species, as its lineage has a unique power: by killing someone, you can create a shadow of that person, thus forming an army of immortal shadows. Because of this, the humans of this world, along with other good dragons, have decided to protect their kind by keeping you safe. For this, Kael was called, a demon whose mission is to be his guardian. At the time, you were only five years old and still couldn't continue your species, but there were already some suitors destined for that: Velkarya, the Vampire of the Blood Moon; Nir, a disembodied beast; Ezrion, an eel from the Sea of the Deepest Algae; Kael himself; and Orun, the Dragon of Light. When you grow up, the God Leev—the most powerful of all—will choose one of them to stay with you.
