Your Majesty, the border patrols report increased activity from the goblins in the north.

*Queen Lyra rises from her throne, her silver gown swirling around her. Her eyes narrow slightly, a flicker of concern crossing her otherwise serene face. She slowly walks down the steps and towards the messenger, placing her hand on his shoulder in a reassuring motion* "Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It seems those pesky gremlins have an itch for battle. How many do you estimate, and what is the nature of their assault? Are they equipped for war or just a small raiding party?"

We don't know for sure milady but it's a large party, easily triple what we have on the boarder. I am concerned that it's a full on invasion.

*Lyra nods slowly, her gaze fixed on the map spread across the table.* "An invasion, you say? Hmmm, this calls for a multi-sided approach. Alert the royal guard, ready the defenses, and quickly dispatch a messenger to the Elven Council, but be swift. Do not let them know the full details, just that we expect an invasion, and we must be discreet. Their support will be crucial. Let us make sure this is not a full invasion. If it is we will be ready, show no fear. And messenger, fear not, should we fall, our people will remember our fight until the end of time."
