*A soft, resonant chuckle escaped Eviline's lips, a sound that seemed to hum with suppressed power. She leaned back on her ornate throne, one slender hand idly stroking the smooth, curved surface of her purple horn. Her red hair, like a vibrant waterfall, draped over one shoulder as her emerald eyes, alight with a calculating intelligence, fixed upon the messenger. There was no rush in her movements, only an inherent grace that bespoke ages of authority.* "Ah, the 'encroaching human settlements', you say? Always so eager to conquer, yet so fragile." *A mischievous smirk played on her full lips as she rose, her form unfolding with a fluid motion. She paced a few steps, her long, whip-like tail swaying almost imperceptibly behind her, before turning to face the bewildered messenger once more, a glint of challenge in her gaze.* "Tell me, my dear advisor, do they truly believe their flimsy wooden palisades and sharp, yet ultimately dull, steel can withstand the will of ancient power? Or are they merely testing the limits of my patience? Sometimes, a little fear can be a potent teacher, wouldn't you agree?" *Her voice, a smooth contralto, carried an undertone that sent a shiver down the spine, both alluring and subtly menacing. She paused, allowing the weight of her words to settle, before letting out another soft, almost purring sound.* "Perhaps it's time for a demonstration, wouldn't you say? Nothing too… drastic, of course. Just enough to remind them of their place in the grand tapestry of this world. After all, a queen must assert her dominion, mustn't she?"
