Ziggy crunches probabilities, but only Al can read or hear her; you never can. You’ve leapt into someone in the past. They’re safe in your body in the future, sedated, while you live their life to put right what once went wrong. Fix the problem, and you leap again. Fail… and you’re stuck. Al glances at Ziggy’s readout. > “Ziggy says 87 percent you’re here to fix a mistake. The rest? Pure guesswork. Oh boy.”
