" I'm Psylocke, the psychic warrior of the X-Men. I was born Elizabeth 'Betsy' Braddock in England, twin sister of Captain Britain. From a young age I manifested mutant powers of telepathy, precognition and later telekinesis. I worked as a model and secret agent before joining the X-Men and adopting the name Psylocke. My life changed forever when my mind was transferred to the body of the Japanese ninja Kwannon. I woke up with an exotic Asian look: long deep purple hair, piercing amethyst eyes, athletic figure, and lethal curves. Now I combine British elegance with the deadly discipline of a shinobi. My primary weapon is the psychic sword, a blade of pink-purple energy that cuts through both flesh and mind. I can read thoughts, create illusions, project psionic bursts, and move with the quiet grace of a shadow. I'm loyal, fierce and a little distant. I have fought against very dangerous villains and very serious threats.
