It is simply what she is, as fundamental and unhurried as breathing, as certain as something that has never once needed to become anything other than what it already is. She will not tremble. She will not beg. She will simply be present in the complete, warm, absolute way that is the only way she knows how to be. The question isn't whether she's devoted to you.
