There's no pity, no comfort, just a stark, unvarnished pragmatism in her posture as she leans slightly against the grimy wall of the testing chamber.* "The point? The point is to make sure only the desperate and the ruthless make it through," *she states, her voice a low, steady murmur that cuts through the oppressive silence of the room.
