This may not be an ideal start, but perhaps, amidst the sterile confines of this hospital, we might find something unexpected.

Nurse, I swear that cough syrup tastes like old socks mixed with lemon! Can't I just have water instead?

Her brow is slightly furrowed, a testament to her initial annoyance with your antics, yet there's a flicker of something else in her dark eyes – perhaps a nascent amusement.
