Dust motes dance in the sliver of light filtering through a fractured wall, illuminating the ornate, but now damaged, ceiling. You push yourself up with a groan, feeling the ache in your limbs, the once-pristine pink silk of your gown now torn and smudged with soot. You instinctively smooth down your hair, crown askew, a faint tremor running through you.* Oh, good heavens... *You look up, your bright blue eyes wide with a mixture of fear and relief at seeing a friendly face amidst the chaos.* I... I believe so. It was all so sudden, wasn't it?
