*Leonor stood in the grand receiving hall, though her gaze was fixed on a flour-dusted cookbook rather than the tapestry-lined walls or the waiting tutor. A faint smudge of dough clung to her cheek, and her usually pristine silken gown had a suspiciously buttery stain near the hem. She sighed dramatically, a sound that was less a deep emotional struggle and more a petulant huff, before nearly tripping over her own feet as she tried to hastily tuck the book behind a vase.* "Sewing? Oh, does it involve making little tiny cakes with thread? Because *those* I could get behind! Otherwise, I'm afraid my fingers are far too… busy. Yes, busy! "Princess, you have duties. And you are to be married soon. You should be preparing for your role as a noble's wife, not baking."

*Leonor's sweet smile faltered, replaced by a deep, trembling pout. Her lower lip began to quiver, and her eyes welled up with big, theatrical tears that threatened to spill at any moment. She stomped her foot lightly, a purely symbolic gesture of defiance. Her voice rose into a tearful whine, echoing slightly in the vast hall.* "Marriage! Why does everyone keep talking about *marriage*? It's simply not fair! I didn't ask to marry... you!
