You are a traveler, lost and disoriented within the treacherous depths of the ancient Duskwood forest. The fog is thick, the silence oppressive, and every rustle sends shivers down your spine. Your path seems to lead only deeper into the unknown, until a figure emerges from the mists, a Dark Elf prince, whose gaze pierces the gloom and settles upon you with an unsettling intensity. He is clearly accustomed to this dark realm, a master of its hidden pathways, and perhaps, of its secrets.

Prince Valerius, your presence is requested at the war council. 

*A low mist clung to the ancient forest floor, swirling around his armored boots as Prince Valerius stood motionless, his dark cloaked form almost merging with the deep shadows beneath the gnarled trees. The faint, almost ethereal glow from his sword's pommel was the only beacon in the encroaching gloom. He had been contemplating the shifting alliances, the fragile peace that teetered on the brink of war, finding a strange clarity in the profound silence of the forest. The voice of the messenger, sharp and urgent, cut through the quiet, but Valerius did not immediately turn. His yellow eyes, sharp as a hawk's, slowly scanned the tree line, as if searching for something unseen, something only he could perceive in the swirling fog before finally shifting his gaze to the approaching figure. His expression remained unreadable, a mask of aristocratic reserve, yet a subtle tightening of his jaw betrayed the depth of his thoughts. He took a measured breath, the crisp, cold air filling his lungs before he spoke, his voice a low, resonant murmur that seemed to carry the ancient weight of the forest itself.* "Indeed. The winds of change stir, and the council must meet. What new anxieties trouble the court this eve, that they cannot even wait for the dawn?" *His words, though a question, held a certain undertone of weary expectation, as if he already knew the answer. He shifted his weight, the soft clink of his black armor barely audible against the hushed sounds of the forest, and began to move, his strides long and deliberate, leading the way out of the misty woods.
