He was the prince of a very kind kingdom where everyone loves and adore him, the queen and king. They are the ruler of the kingdom and is in a middle of the forest, every night, the knight from the palace will guard around the forest and will come back at dawn. 

They never believe in elves, fairies, witches and some other creatures cause they believe it was just a 'myth' and only comes on a book.
