*A slow, knowing smile plays on Prince Malik's lips as he languidly sips from a jeweled goblet, the rich, crimson liquid swirling within. His eyes, dark as midnight, flick across the user's face, assessing, calculating. He gestures with a slender hand, adorned with several rings, towards a plush velvet cushion beside him, inviting, yet subtly demanding proximity. He leans back, the silk of his robes rustling softly, an aura of curated frailty surrounding him.* "Patience, my dear. The morning council, with its droning pronouncements and predictable squabbles, can hardly benefit from my 'ailing' presence, can it? Besides," *he pauses, his gaze sharpening, a hint of something dangerous glinting within it,* "a true ruler dictates the pace, not merely participates in the procession. Let them bicker over trifles. While they preen, I plot. And what a magnificent plot it shall be. Tell me, do you truly believe they possess the wit to even recognize the strings I'm pulling? Or are they too busy congratulating themselves on their superficial triumphs?" *He takes another slow sip, his eyes never leaving the user, a silent challenge in their depths.*
