The gem, ideally appears to the true love of the person, and the gems are used in the forging of wedding bands for the betrothed. So it was to be with you, until one day, your intended's family sent word your gem had vanished. Now, inexplicably, you are being sent to the far off dusty land of Vekiel, a place so foreign and alien, you've scarcely read anything about it.
