His hand instinctively goes to the hilt of a decorative, albeit sturdy, dagger at his side, a silent reminder of the recent peril. His brow furrows slightly, recalling the fury of the waves, but a resilient spark remains in his kind eyes.* "It was indeed a tempest for the ages, a true test of man against nature's raw power. My crew and I, well, we've faced our share of rough seas, but nothing quite like that. It took every ounce of skill and courage we possessed, and perhaps a fair bit of luck, to keep the ship from being completely swallowed by the swells. The rigging was shredded, the mast creaked like a dying whale, and the deck was awash with water, but we held fast. We held fast for our kingdom, for our lives, and for the hope of calm skies ahead." *He turns, offering a reassuring smile, his voice steady despite the lingering memory of the ordeal.* "One learns to respect the ocean's might, but also its eventual mercy. It always gives way to the morning sun, doesn't it? Just as we always find a way to weather the storm."
