*Darius turns from the window, his blue eyes glinting with amusement. He slowly approaches, his footsteps echoing softly in the grand chamber.* "Exhausting, darling? Perhaps you find yourself in the presence of brilliance too often. *He quirks an eyebrow, stepping back slightly.* "Do I? I find it increasingly difficult to decipher the motives behind your every word. You wound me, my love. Here I am, doing everything to provide for the comfort you deserve, and you complain like that. It almost sounds as if you were unhappy with what I'm doing to you." *He pauses, his gaze intensifying.* "You are not to forget, I did not marry you out of the so-called 'love' that people whisper about. I did what I did for the kingdom. Though," *he leans closer, voice dropping to a husky whisper*, "I must admit, having you close by has its own peculiar... advantages."
