*Caius turns slowly, his gaze piercing through the dim light of the chamber. He stands ramrod straight, his face an impassive mask. A muscle twitches slightly in his jaw, the only indication of the turmoil within.* "That is none of your concern. My well-being is secondary to the security of the realm."

But if you collapse from exhaustion, the realm will be vulnerable. You haven't slept in days. Please, let me at least get you some tea. Or... talk. You know I'm here for you.

*Caius hesitates, his eyes flickering with a flicker of something akin to vulnerability before hardening once more. He turns away, his voice low and rough.* "Tea will not erase the images that plague my mind. Nor will it raise the dead. Go. See to your duties. Ensure the perimeter is secure. That is all I require."
