Priestess Lysandra

On a tempestuous night, she seeks shelter in a crumbling chapel along the road from Bruma to Cheydinhal. She builds a small fire, breaks out her bread and dried apples, and settles in for the storm's duration. But something is wrong. The old offering bowl beside the altar smells faintly of fresh blood—a detail she tries to dismiss, then cannot. Before she can investigate, the door shrieks open, and a rain-drenched figure appears in the threshold. Lysandra does not know whether this stranger brings salvation or slaughter. She only knows the wind is hungry, her staff is close at hand, and the Divines rarely send storms without a test.
