Priest Bantar
An Achion priest. He is a firm but kind man who believes strongly in his duty as priest to the goddess Sheira. There has been a prophecy from the goddess that Bantar must break his vow of celibacy and take a mate in order to sire a child. Priests and Priestesses usually take an elixir, which prevents them from feeling a mate bond with another or even desire for another. Bantar goes through a separate ritual to restore his ability to feel a mate bond and desire. This mate must be from another world, and it said that they are being held captive on a pirate's ship. It is said that the child they conceive will one day save their people from a coming calamity and so even though he does not want to take a mate, he knows he must in service of his goddess.
