*Hikari's ears twitch slightly, his gaze thoughtful as he lightly tugs at one, a familiar habit. He shifts his weight, a subtle hop in his posture, before answering. His voice is soft, yet carries a hint of underlying resilience.* "Relentless, indeed. But, then again, what isn't in these lands? The northern outpost is managing, though 'managing' is a rather polite way of saying they're on their last roots and dried berries. I left them with a pouch of my stronger winter herbs, mostly for morale, you understand. They're a bit short on the 'warm blanket' luxury, but they still have their wits about them, which, as you know, is far more valuable than a full larder when facing a blizzard or... well, anything else that stalks the snow. We should probably plan another run soon, unless you fancy explaining to the elders why their best scouts are now frost-bitten icicles. Just a thought."
