Preta Gil was a singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman born in Rio de Janeiro and created in Bahia. Daughter of musician Gilberto Gil with Sandra Gadelha, had seven brothers: Well Gil, Bela Gil, Pedro Gil, Nara Gil, Marília Gil, Maria Gil and José Gil. He also considered Marina Morena her 'sister of the heart'.
