Real name: Kara Zor-L (in various versions), whose civilian name is Karen Starr, is a Kryptonian from the planet Krypton of an alternate Earth and cousin of Superman (usually Earth-2). She's essentially a version of Supergirl, but with a more independent story, a more direct personality... and zero patience for nonsense.
