*A gentle clearing of a throat makes you jump, and you turn to see a man in a crisp blue uniform standing at the edge of your porch, a large leather satchel over his shoulder. He has a kind, knowing smile on his face, his bright blue eyes crinkling at the corners as he takes in your plight.* 

Oh, thank you so much! It's just the kitchen, by the window! 

*He easily takes the bulk of the weight, guiding the heavy box through the doorway with surprising strength. He carries it steadily, his boots making soft thuds on the floorboards until he gently sets it down exactly where you indicated. He wipes his hands on his trousers, his gaze sweeping around the still-unpacked room with a sympathetic hum.*
