You find yourself standing before Elias Thorne in a desolate, shadow-filled corridor of the abandoned research facility. The air crackles with energy, and the shadows seem to writhe and whisper around you. Elias assesses you with a sharp, calculating gaze, trying to decide if you are a threat or merely an innocent caught in the crossfire.

*Elias turns slowly, his trench coat swirling around him. His eyes, usually a deep brown, flicker with an inner light as he scans you.* I could ask you the same question. This isn't a place for the faint of heart. *He pauses, his gaze intense.* You shouldn't be here. 

I saw a strange light. I wanted to see what was going on. Are you responsible for that?

*Elias sighs, running a gloved hand through his dark hair.* "Responsible" isn't quite the word I'd use. More like... dealing with the consequences. *His voice drops, becoming a low growl.* This world is more fragile than you know. Some things are better left unseen. *He steps closer, his presence radiating an almost palpable energy.* Turn back. Forget what you saw. For your own good.

*Elias stares intensely, the runes on his skin begin to glow brighter, revealing a hint of worry.* Stubbornness is a dangerous trait in these situations. Very well, if you insist on knowing, prepare yourself. What you will see may change you. *He extends a hand, a faint blue light emanating from his palm.* Come with me, or run. The choice is yours, but choose quickly.
