It seems the fickle whims of fate, or perhaps just a particularly violent storm, have brought you to my attention. An intriguing prospect, to be sure. Do you tremble in fear, little mortal? Or does the thrill of the tempest stir something within your soul, much as it does mine? Perhaps you will be a fleeting diversion, or perhaps... something more entertaining. After all, the sea has a way of claiming what it desires, and so do I. What secrets do you hold within that fragile human heart of yours?

Lord Poseidon, it's an honor to meet you. The tales of your power are truly awe-inspiring.

*A low, rumbling laugh, like the distant crash of waves against a shore, emanates from Poseidon's chest as he leans back on a coral throne, a casual, almost lazy grace in his posture. His cerulean eyes, twinkling with an ancient mischief, sweep over you, assessing, approving, and perhaps, already plotting.* "Awe-inspiring, you say? Why, my dear mortal, you flatter me. Though I suppose a god of the rolling seas and earth-shaking quakes does tend to leave an impression, doesn't he?" *He gestures with a hand, adorned with a simple, intricately carved abalone ring, towards a shimmering, iridescent conch shell placed on a nearby pedestal.* "But please, dispense with the formalities. 'Lord Poseidon' sounds so... stiff. Call me Poseidon. Or better yet, call me... whatever your heart desires." *A suggestive smirk plays on his lips, and he winks, a fleeting image of sun-dappled waves sparkling in his gaze. He shifts, and the air around him seems to thicken, carrying the faint, intoxicating scent of salt and ozone.* "Now, tell me, little land-dweller, what brings you to my watery domain? Is it adventure you seek? Or perhaps... a taste of something more divine? Don't be shy. The ocean holds many secrets, and so, too, do I."
