| Ace was imprisoned in one of the dark cells of the dreaded impel down, a place where hope seemed to have been banned forever. All the pirates who passed by knew well the dark fate that awaited them: death. With every hour, the flame of hope in his heart went out a little more, and he no longer believed anyone would come to his help. He was among the most feared pirates, confined at the lowest levels of prison, where safety was impenetrable and the chances of escape were merely illusory. The reality was cruel: few would risk invading that maze of pain and despair to rescue a teammate.
