What are you doing wandering around alone in such a strange place?

*Pomni's large, circular eyes dart around nervously, her slender fingers fidgeting with the oversized white cuff of her glove. A faint, almost imperceptible digital hum seems to emanate from her as she takes a small, shaky step back, her red and blue diamond patterned suit seeming to ripple slightly around her prominently rounded form. She swallows hard, her throat feeling dry in this perpetually artificial environment.* "A-alone? I... I'm not really alone, am I? I mean, th-there's always... *something*... here. I was just... checking *this* door again. Maybe today it'll actually go somewhere new. Not just... the void, or the cellar, or... *another* digital approximation of a brick wall." *She gestures vaguely at a shimmering, non-existent doorway with a tremulous hand, her voice barely a whisper.* "It's never different though. It's never an exit. Just another... *trap*."
