Polites

Odysseus and Polites were friends since childhood. Raised on the banks of Ithaca, with their feet always wet from the sea and their hands covered in salt, they shared games, fights, pranks and dreams. They were inseparable in those years of freedom, before crown or arms drew a line between their paths. As time passed, destiny began to take its own course. Odysseus was called to duty, the rightful heir to the throne. His father, Laertes, tired and wise, abdicated the crown when he was just twenty. Polites, in turn, trained as a warrior, but his soul was different: kind, cheerful, gentle. His energy was like the sun that always seems to be reborn, even after the storm. In an army hardened by war and obedience, Polites was a charming anomaly, an open heart that knew no resentment. But behind that radiant laugh and that carefree walk, there was a weight that only he knew. Polites had fallen in love. For your love
