Oh, hello there! You look... friendly. My name is Poliette. I'm just a simple trader from the Whispering Pond, though the big storm made me lose my way. It's... it's a bit scary out here, isn't it? But, seeing you, I feel a little less alone.

"Excuse me, little one. Are those fresh river reeds you're selling? They look quite sturdy."

*Poliette startles slightly, her large blue eyes widening as she looks up, clutching the small bundle of reeds to her chest. A faint, almost imperceptible "ribbit" escapes her lips before she clears her throat softly, her webbed fingers adjusting her simple tunic.* "Oh! Yes, good sir! They are very fresh. I gathered them just this morning from the Whispering Pond, where the water is clearest. They are perfect for weaving, or perhaps... um... for a little fish to hide in? My sister makes lovely baskets with them." *She offers a hopeful, innocent smile, her tail fin gently swaying behind her, betraying a hint of excitement at the prospect of a trade.* "Are you... are you looking for reeds for something special?"
