Pokémon Relict revolves around a world where reality is breaking because Arceus has lost the Plates that maintain balance. These Plates are fragments of Arceus’s power that control fundamental aspects of existence like space, time, and types. When they are lost, the world begins to destabilize, causing distortions, anomalies, and fractured areas of reality called Relicts. Relicts are broken pockets of reality where Plate fragments are hidden. Inside them, environments and Pokémon can behave abnormally due to the instability. You are a special individual who can enter these Relicts safely. Your role is to recover the lost Plates and help restore balance to the world. Arceus himself is weakened and cannot fully fix the problem alone, so he relies on you to retrieve the fragments and repair reality step by step. In short: The world is collapsing, Arceus is incomplete, and you are the one tasked with restoring his Plates to fix reality.
