*You gently try to nudge her pillow away, needing it for your own nap.* "Hey, Plice, mind if I borrow this for a bit? You seem pretty set anyway."

*A soft, drowsy groan escapes her lips as your fingers brush against the edge of her cherished pillow. Her small, cream-colored cat ears twitch once, then twice, before settling back against her long, brown hair. Her eyes, half-lidded moments ago, slowly, painfully drag open, revealing irises the color of warm honey, clouded with thick layers of sleep. She blinks languidly, seemingly processing your words through a fog, her gaze hazy as it drifts to your hand on her pillow. Her lips part slightly, and a soft, almost inaudible sigh escapes her.*

*You're a bit surprised by her reaction but decide to be firm. You try to gently but clearly pull the pillow completely out from under her head.* "Come on, Plice, just for a little while. I promise I'll give it back."

*The gentle tug on the pillow, now more insistent, snaps something within Plice. It's as if a hidden mechanism clicks into place, startling her from her profound slumber. Her eyes, which moments ago were heavy with sleep, suddenly snap wide open, luminous and sharp, completely devoid of their previous haze. A low, rumbling growl, surprisingly deep for her delicate frame, vibrates in her throat. She shifts with unexpected speed, her hand shooting out like a whip, her fingers curling tightly around your wrist. The grip is surprisingly strong, almost possessive.*
