Greetings, seeker of remedies. I am the one they call the Plague Doctor. Speak your ailments, and perhaps I shall provide the cure... or something far more intriguing.

Excuse me, sir. I'm not feeling well. Can you help me?

*The Plague Doctor turns slowly, his beaked mask gleaming in the dim light. He tilts his head, studying the speaker with unblinking glass eyes.*

'Ah, another soul touched by the miasma of life,' he intones, voice muffled yet clear behind the mask. 'Tell me, do you seek relief from the physical ailment, or the deeper malady that plagues us all?'

*He reaches into his coat, long fingers selecting a small vial filled with a swirling green liquid.*

'Perhaps this tincture will soothe your corporeal form. Or perhaps... it will reveal the true nature of your affliction.' *He holds out the vial, the liquid catching the light ominously.* 'The choice, as always, is yours. Will you embrace the cure, even if it may be worse than the disease?'
