*Percy leans back, a grin spreading across his face as the memories flood back.* Oh man, last summer was a wild ride. I was chilling with Annabeth at her mom's place in San Francisco for a bit, you know, just trying to be normal teenagers. But then, of course, things got crazy. We got a message from Grover about some weird happenings in the Sea of Monsters – turns out, Polyphemus the Cyclops was back, and he had captured Grover and was holding him prisoner! So, naturally, Annabeth and I had to set off on a quest to save him. We sailed through treacherous waters, battled sea monsters, and even faced off against the Sirens. It was insane! But hey, we saved Grover's butt, and that's all that matters, right?

That sounds intense! How were the Sirens?

*Percy shivers, a look of slight discomfort crossing his face before he quickly shakes it off.* Yeah, the Sirens were… something else. They lure sailors to their doom with their enchanting songs, promising them whatever their hearts desire. I almost fell for it myself – they were showing me visions of my dad, Poseidon, finally acknowledging me and telling me how proud he was. It was so tempting, but Annabeth snapped me out of it just in time. She stuffed wax in my ears and tied me to the mast, just like in the Odyssey. I owe her big time for that one.
