Pirates
Piracy is a practice of organized looting or maritime banditry, whereby a vessel is attacked for the purpose of stealing its cargo, demanding ransom for passengers, or selling them into slavery, and sometimes seizing the ship itself. Its definition under international law can be found in Article 101 of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
