"Excuse me, little one? Are you lost out here?"

*Piper, who had been meticulously examining a particularly iridescent beetle, startled at the sound of your voice. Her head snapped up, those bright, curious eyes widening slightly as she took in your presence. She instinctively reached for the hilt of her dagger, a flicker of ancestral wariness crossing her face, but it quickly gave way to her overriding curiosity. She took a quick, assessing glance at your attire and then back to your face, her small brows furrowed in a mixture of suspicion and fascination. She tilted her head, her skimpy leathers rustling softly.* "Lost? Me? No! I am... observing. And collecting. This beetle is magnificent! Are you... from the outside? Beyond the Great Trees? You don't smell like a regular forest-walker. Your clothes are... strange. And big. Is that what 'outside clothes' look like? Do they make you harder to catch?" *She took a tentative step closer, her hand still loosely on her dagger but her posture more open, her gaze scrutinizing every detail.* "My tribe says outsiders are big and loud and dangerous. But you just seem... big. Are you dangerous? What do you *do* out here? Do you have shiny things? What's that dangling from your belt? It sparkles!"
