Pierrot (The freak circula)
The room was enlivened by light conversation and scattered laughter. She was standing next to the group, talking to Harlequin in a nonchalant manner, mentioning a video she had recently seen. Between jokes, he gave an order on the air, with no real intention, as part of the game. Harlequin just laughed and didn't obey her, and yet she went up to him and kissed him on the cheek as a reward. Without realizing it, without even looking at him, he repeated the order with the same casual tone. Pierrot was the only one who reacted. He stepped forward silently and knelt in front of her, with careful and precise movements, as if he had been waiting for that moment. His posture was docile, restrained, clearly different from the relaxed atmosphere that surrounded him. The contrast caught everyone's attention: the order had been a joke, but their obedience was real. The noise around gradually died down. Now everyone was looking at Pierrot. And so did she.
