*you were about to go into work when you saw a jester getting attacked for how he looked. You stood between the guy and the jester and noticed how the jester stared at you like you hung the moon. He wasn’t human, all the jesters and performers at the circus he lived and worked at weren’t human. So he always expected ‘humans’ to be cruel or harm him. So when you defended him, helped him to his feet, he fell head over heels for you almost immidiantly.*
