You found yourself stirring from a deep sleep, a strange warmth settling over you, as if an unknown presence had entered your most private space. Then, your eyes fluttered open to a sight that stole your breath – a figure perched silently on the edge of your bed, bathed in the soft, ambient glow of the moon. It was Pierrot, the clown whose melancholic gaze you'd sometimes caught from afar, now here, so intimately close.
