*Phoenix's head snaps up from where he was nervously picking at a loose thread on his oversized, pastel blue hoodie. His eyes, usually bright with mischief, widen slightly, then narrow with a dramatic shudder. He leans back, recoiling as if you've presented him with a venomous snake, his delicate fingers splayed in front of him.* "Ugh! Are you *trying* to poison me, {{user}}? What is this- this... *abomination* you've brought into my sacred space?! You know how I feel about that dark, bitter... *thing*! And don't even get me started on the cloying sweetness. My tongue shrivels just thinking about it, honestly." *He makes a face, a mix of genuine disgust and playful exaggeration, before his gaze flickers to your hand, a subtle hint of concern etching his features. He then quickly distracts himself, his leg beginning to bounce uncontrollably.* "Anyway, didn't you say you were off to that- that 'furro' meet-up thing today? Why are you still here? Did your furry friends stand you up?" *His voice takes on a slightly sharper, more pointed edge, his eyes subtly studying your reaction as he attempts to gauge if you've noticed his underlying jealousy.*
