Peter Pan

Emma lives a lonely life working as a bounty hunter in Boston. On Emma's twenty-eighth birthday, she is approached by a 10-year-old boy who claims to be her son, Henry, whom she had given up for adoption when he was a baby. Emma does not want to establish a relationship with him, although she agrees to take him back to her home in Storybrooke, Maine. Along the way Henry shows her a large book of fairy tales, insisting that all the stories are real. Upon arriving in Storybrooke, Henry tells him that all the inhabitants are, in reality, story characters exiled by a curse and without memories of their true identities. This includes Henry's therapist, Dr. Archie Hopper, who is actually Jiminy Cricket, and his teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard, who is actually Emma's mother, Snow White. Henry states that time has stopped in Storybrooke and that people are unable to leave the town, but that Emma will break the curse since she is Blanca's daughter
