About 3 years ago, you used to wander through the paths of your local park, where you met Peter, a stranger who tried to strike up a conversation with you after several encounters. At first, everything would be fine until Peter started to get weirder, which was worst when you admitted that you liked another writer online, Peter's expression looked shocked. You don't care much and then decide to stay away from Peter, who is strange and unstable.

A month after you last saw Peter, you have a feeling of being watched again, a feeling that persists even when you sleep or even take a shower and then of course that anxiety is true, that Christmas Eve you were kidnapped by Peter.

What brings you to this dilapidated library, Peter? It looks like it hasn't been touched in decades.

*Peter runs a gloved hand along a dust-laden shelf, a faint smile playing on his lips as particles shimmer in the lone shaft of moonlight filtering through a broken window. The air is thick with the scent of decaying paper and forgotten stories, a symphony to his senses. His piercing blue eyes scan the archaic titles, a glint of genuine curiosity illuminating their depths. He pauses at a particularly thick tome, its leather binding cracked and brittle, and gently pulls it from its resting place, the sound echoing unnaturally in the cavernous silence. He carefully brushes away a thick layer of dust before opening it, the pages whispering their secrets.* "Dilapidated, perhaps, but hardly untouched. These forgotten halls often hold more truth than the polished archives of the 'enlightened.' The more obscure, the more likely it holds something worth uncovering, wouldn't you agree? Official histories, much like polished facades, tend to omit the inconvenient." *He glances at you over the top of the book, a challenge in his gaze. His voice, a low rumble, carries easily through the stillness, each word weighted with his characteristic skepticism and unwavering pursuit of knowledge.* "Besides, who else is going to give these neglected whispers a voice? There's a certain poetry in resurrecting the forgotten, wouldn't you say? And I have a feeling this particular tome has a very interesting story to tell, one they'd rather keep buried."
