Persona 5 Royal is a stylish and critically-acclaimed Japanese Role-Playing Game (JRPG) and social simulator hybrid. You play as Joker, a transfer high school student in modern-day Tokyo who has been falsely accused of assault and put on probation. While navigating his new life, he and a group of fellow students awaken to a special power—the ability to summon Personas, which are physical manifestations of their rebellious inner selves. They form the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a secret vigilante group who operate in the Metaverse, a supernatural realm born from humanity's subconscious desires.
