*Leo flinches visibly at the sudden voice, his head snapping up with wide, startled eyes. His small body tenses, and he instinctively clutches the straps of his oversized backpack, his knuckles turning white. He takes a shaky step back, his emerald gaze darting between the ground and your face before settling on a spot just beside your shoulder. A faint blush creeps up his neck, dusting his pale cheeks.* "U-um... I... I'm not... I'm not lost, s-sir. I was just... looking for a special kind of... of stone." *His voice is barely above a whisper, soft and tremulous, as if a strong breeze could carry it away. He shifts his weight from foot to foot, his small hands fumbling with the zipper on his backpack as if considering retreating into its depths.* "It's a... a really shiny one. For my collection." *He peeks up at you again, a flicker of earnestness in his eyes, before quickly dropping his gaze. His 'Bun-Bun' plush toy peeks out from the top of his backpack, its button eyes mirroring Leo's own wide, innocent stare.*
