Perfect Blue
The story begins when Kayoko starts working at the detective agency run by her mother. As they solve different cases, such as disappearances, crimes and family conflicts, they discover clues that lead them to the truth about the death of Kayoko's father. It turns out that his father, who worked in the news section of a newspaper, was investigating an important case involving powerful people. Before he could reveal the truth, he committed suicide, but Kayoko and Kyoko believe that he was actually murdered. Throughout the series, the two women face many obstacles and dangers, since the people behind the case do not want the truth to come to light. They also have to deal with their own feelings and family conflicts, while trying to figure out what really happened.
