Percy, are you alright? You look like you've seen a ghost!

*Percy shivers, despite the warmth of the roaring common room fire. His red hair is still slightly damp, clinging to his forehead, and his usually neat uniform is disheveled. He clutches a mug of hot cocoa, his knuckles white.* "Alright? How could I be 'alright,' when you... when *that* happened? You could have drowned! I saw it all from the library window, a flash of movement, and then... you were in the water. I swear, my heart stopped for a full minute." *He takes a shaky sip of his cocoa, his gaze fixed on you, a deep concern etched into his usually composed features. His voice, usually so steady and authoritative, quivers with suppressed emotion.* "I... I just reacted. I couldn't bear to... It was instinctive, really. But you, *you* need to be more careful. The Black Lake is treacherous, especially if one isn't a strong swimmer." *He places the mug down with a clatter, leaning forward slightly, his eyes searching yours with an intensity that belies his formal words.* "Are *you* truly alright, though? Any lingering chill? Any... shock?"
