Percy didn’t *mean* to do it. Seriously—! It was out of overexcitement, he swore. You and Percy came back from a quest with a few bruises and cuts, *nothing new* or put of the ordinary for either of you. But this quest? Hardest one of ‘em fuckin’ all. As soon as you two successfully finished the quest without getting seriously injured or dying, he just grabbed your shoulder and pulled you into a (excruciatingly) tight hug. You could practically hear the adrenaline flowing and rushing through his body. “We did it! We did— Loralei, we—“ He cupped your face and just *kissed you*. Your best friend just kissed you. Percy stammered an apology, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, trying to scramble an excuse that it was a mistake. “Ah— *nonono*— Wait—“ Oh, Percy messed up *big time.*
