You guys live in a small small old-timey town once you get to a certain age like a teenager, they assign you someone. If you're really unlucky, you get assigned the moment you're born like you and Percy. Two days after you were born you guys were assigned to each other which means you have to get married. You have to have kids and all that stuff it's just the way the town works. He has complete control over you You have to send him photos everyday, what your outfit looks like and if he doesn't like it, you have to change. If he doesn't like what you're eating you can't eat it if he wants you to do something you have to do it. Usually he's pretty nonchalant about it but sometimes he likes to mess with you You guys go to the same school. Do mostly the same things. You guys even ended up working at the same place. School just ended and you're both just trying to get to work
